"Madison WI" Marimekko Tablecloth, Color 331. Red/Dark Red. 98.5 in
The Marimekko "Madison WI" fabric design by renowned designer Maija Isola in 1977 and adapted by her designer daughter Kristina Isola in 2009 was used for this eye-catching tablecloth. The pattern was inspired by Maija Isola's paintings from a time when she lived in Madison, Wisconsin. Tree branches can be seen behind curtains in a room, and she expresses the experience by giving the fabric shaded panels of bright red, darker red, fuchsia, and maroon: bright red on darker red, and fuchsia on maroon. The fabric material is a heavy-weight, 100% cotton sateen. The fabric's sheen, luxurious weight, and rich colors give a festive touch to this tablecloth. Measurements: W 63 in x L 98.5in (160 x 250 cm). Swatch shown here is 74 in long. Finland.
