Marimekko's "Stilla" place mats are great additions to your table. The over-sized, stylized maroon leaves on a vivid carmine red background, filled with fine, traversing lines are nevertheless a close image of leaves in nature. "Stilla" is a good example of clean, contemporary design at its best. Design: Björn Dahlström, 2007, one of Scandinavia's most successful designers. He focused earlier in his career on graphic design but today mainly concentrates on industrial design.
